The second phase involves implementing a comprehensive masterplan for the area, including the construction of a new office building with a representative function for the entire Buffoli group. Located along the street front, this structure will house office spaces and areas dedicated to research and development, fostering collaboration among the group’s synergistic entities, such as Buffoli Meccanismi, Advance Robotics, Electro Engineering, 3D Evolve, and CloudBits Solutions.

Impact and Future Prospects

The expansion on Via Ferrini marks a significant step for Buffoli Transfer, not only in terms of production capacity but also as a center for innovation and training. The BlueTechHub serves as a hub for skills and creativity, where technological innovation merges with technical training and collaboration with the academic world. Initiatives like the BlueTechDays demonstrate the company’s commitment to promoting the transition to Industry 5.0 and the adoption of advanced technologies, such as artificial intelligence and additive manufacturing.

In conclusion, Buffoli Transfer’s acquisition and redevelopment of the former Cidneo area exemplify a virtuous model of industrial regeneration, combining economic growth, technological innovation, and sustainability, thereby strengthening Brescia’s role as a center of excellence in the advanced mechanical sector.sfer, torni e stampanti 3D, oltre a creare nuovi spazi per la carpenteria destinata ai sistemi di automazione e ai caricabarre.

Buffoli Transfer S.p.A., a historic industrial company based in Brescia and specializing in the design and production of high-performance machine tools, has embarked on a significant expansion by acquiring and redeveloping the former Cidneo Metallurgica site on Via Ferrini. This strategic move has led to the creation of the BlueTechHub, an advanced technology center that effectively doubles the company’s operational space, complementing its historic headquarters on Via Stretta.

Phase 1: Renovation and Securing of Existing Facilities

The initial phase focused on renovating and securing the existing facilities at the former Cidneo site. Covering approximately 7,400 square meters within a total area of 15,000 square meters, the project aimed to expand assembly areas for transfer machines, lathes, and 3D printers. Additionally, new spaces were created for carpentry dedicated to automation systems and bar loaders. This phase addressed the growing demand for orders and reinforced Buffoli’s position as a global leader in industrial automation.

Phase 2: Masterplan and Development of New Office Building

The second phase involves implementing a comprehensive masterplan for the area, including the construction of a new office building with a representative function for the entire Buffoli group. Located along the street front, this structure will house office spaces and areas dedicated to research and development, fostering collaboration among the group’s synergistic entities, such as Buffoli Meccanismi, Advance Robotics, Electro Engineering, 3D Evolve, and CloudBits Solutions.
