Studioartec was founded in 2005 and provides an integrated service of architectural and structural design working for clients in the domestic, commercial, education, cultural, ecclesiastical and welfare sectors. The studio has an interest in both new-build work and the extension of existing and historic buildings, as well as working in the wider context of urban design and regeneration, always aiming at a balance with the landscape and the existing built environment, while maintaining an architectural design within the tradition of modernity.
Studioartec was born from 3 designers with different and complementary professional skills who joined to offer the ability to govern the entire construction process: more in detail, thanks to the different specializations of its components, it offers professional services in the fields of urban, infrastructural, architectural, interior and engineering design, including the design of mechanical systems and fire prevention. There is also constant interest in the search for an increasingly sustainable and innovative design. Over time, the studio has also developed a plurality of technical services, ranging from hydraulic design, to the analysis of the seismic vulnerability of buildings, to technical consultancy for the preparation of appraisals of real estate and plants, to energy efficiency.
In 2020 the studio established a relationship with Thomas Ford & Partners, a firm of architects based in London in order to work together on selected projects in Italy and the UK.
Thanks to the common association with the theoretical forum Discourse Architecture, Studioartec and Thomas Ford & Partners are able to offer the services of both practices working together in Italy and the UK.
Studioartec nasce nel 2005 e fornisce un servizio integrato di progettazione architettonica e strutturale lavorando per clienti nei settori abitativo, commerciale, scolastico, culturale, ecclesiastico e assistenziale. Lo studio si interessa sia di nuove costruzioni che di ampliamenti di edifici esistenti e storici, oltre a lavorare nel più ampio contesto di progettazione e rigenerazione urbana, puntando sempre all’equilibrio con il paesaggio e l’ambiente costruito esistente, pur mantenendo un progetto architettonico nella tradizione della modernità.
Studioartec nasce dall’incontro di 3 progettisti con competenze professionali diverse e complementari che si sono unite per offrire la capacità di governare l’intero processo edilizio: più in dettaglio, grazie alle diverse specializzazioni dei suoi componenti, offre servizi professionali in ambito urbano, infrastrutturale, progettazione architettonica, di interni e ingegneristica, compresa la progettazione di sistemi meccanici e prevenzione incendi. Costante è anche l’interesse verso la ricerca di un design sempre più sostenibile e innovativo. Lo studio ha sviluppato nel tempo anche una pluralità di servizi tecnici, che vanno dalla progettazione idraulica, all’analisi della vulnerabilità sismica degli edifici, alla consulenza tecnica per la predisposizione di perizie immobiliari e impiantistiche, all’efficienza energetica.
Nel 2020 lo studio ha stabilito una relazione con Thomas Ford & Partners, uno studio di architetti con sede a Londra al fine di lavorare insieme a progetti selezionati in Italia e nel Regno Unito.
Grazie alla comune associazione con il forum teorico Discourse Architecture, Studioartec e Thomas Ford & Partners sono in grado di offrire i servizi di entrambi gli studi che lavorano insieme in Italia e nel Regno Unito.
